U.K. Titles Set to Launch RHYW is delighted to report the start of U.K. operations with a contract signed with Lightning Source this week, and the first U.K. publishers coming on board. Andre Deutsch, Watkins Publishing, and Connections are the first publishers to have signed up to RHYW's large print program, and titles will be available online shortly. We have many ongoing discussions and expect the list to expand rapidly over the next months. The Miles Franklin Literary Award was established in 1954, and celebrates Australian character and creativity. It is awarded for the novel of the year.The 2011 award winner is That Deadman Dance by Kim Scott (Pan Macmillan Australia). That Deadman Dance also won the East Asia and Pacific region's best book category of this year's Commonwealth Writers' Prize. The Happiest Refugee Wins 2011 Indie Award Australian comedian Anh Do's The Happiest Refugee (Allen & Unwin) is theOverall Winner of the Indie Book of the Year Award 2011!
